“In recent years, the NAIA has been reviewing sports leagues around the world as part of an effort to increase the prestige and competitive level of college sports. Each country has a list of leagues that may make an athlete ineligible to compete in college sports, as well as a list of approved leagues.
Due to confusion and a lack of understanding regarding the structure of Israeli sports leagues, Ben was initially considered ineligible to compete. Through a complex and lengthy appeal process led by Dojo Sports Scholarships, we successfully obtained approval for Ben to compete for the full four years of his college career.”
