Omer Shifris – Soccer Goalkeeper Scholarship Success Story

Omer is a talented soccer goalkeeper. Finding college opportunities for goalkeepers can be more challenging because each team has a limited number of goalkeeper positions, and the role requires a very specific skill set. Unlike field players who can sometimes adapt to different positions, a goalkeeper cannot simply move to another role.

We initially found Omer an opportunity with a college in Texas. However, during the final stages of the process, the college unexpectedly announced that it was closing its athletic program for the upcoming year due to the COVID-19 situation. We had to quickly search for a new opportunity for Omer with a very tight timeline before the start of the college season.

Thanks to Omer’s high-level abilities as a goalkeeper and our extensive network of connections in the United States, we were able to secure him a strong four-year college opportunity.
